She holds that “it’s always important to remember the humanity in what we do.” Raised as a coal miner’s daughter in western Kentucky, Vinnu stays true to her Southern roots by valuing community and staying solutions-focused with her work. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Public Administration. Vinnu now works and resides in the Washington, D.C. area.
