Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities across targeted industries. 
  • Creating, identifying, and closing sales; the individual must be a self-starting closer who can create a pipeline of business. 
  • Thoroughly understand each business line within your designated customers and navigate the organization effectively in order to identify opportunities to extend the Salesforce solution and help organizations solve critical problems in other segments of the organization. 
  • Manage complex sales cycle within new clients by mapping customer’s decision-making and approval processes, compressing timelines, negotiating contracts, and closing business deals. 
  • Build and maintain strong executive relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers in non-profit and association organizations. 
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, manage pipeline, and provide regular forecasting updates to the Senior Management. 
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets within the assigned vertical. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer objectives. 
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and performance reporting. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies. 
  • Travel regularly to attend trade shows, networking events, in-person meetings to develop new business, identify specific project opportunities, and to maintain your existing clientele as you develop your book of business.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. 
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, or business development. 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and sales analytics.
